Galaxy’s Least Wanted
The Interstellar Live VR/Mixed Reality Podcast
in Development
I am currently creative lead on an innovative Live streaming motion captured and VR/Mixed Reality show I conceived, set on board a spaceship in outer space, hosted by two alien space pirates.
The show will involve stylized visuals, conversations with an AI-powered robot companion, and we will take incoming “distress calls” from viewers, where humorous feedback and “advice” from the perspective of extra terrestrial criminals is given. Action and narrative elements are planned to spice up the experience.
This is early in development but well under way. Check below for some behind-the-scenes looks at some of the character designs and concept art.

Untextured to show modeling detail on an older character iteration. Low poly and highly performant with proper topology.

The texturing detail was hand-painted, the text uses an alien typeface I designed. It reads: "Viva La Grease" (The character will have an alias, "Greasy Goblin").

I had to paint normal textures in object space to achieve the hand-painted look, and later baked the object space normals to tangent space in order for the effect to work on a mesh that deforms.
