Vampocchio

I am co-writing a screenplay, together with collaborator Nick Markart, about a fairy tale reject version of Pinocchio who never became a real boy and moved to a futuristic neon dystopian version of Miami where he eventually is bit by a vampire, which makes him a highly prized target for monster hunters tied to a corrupt criminal televangelist syndicate.

”Vampocchio” follows Pinocchio as the only wooden vampire in history as he struggles with self-acceptance and learns to embrace his inner monster for the greater good.

I’ll post more information and concept art once we are ready, but I can say we are discussing options for making this an animated film.
